Communication in a course

Here you will find instructions for the various communication tools available in Brightspace. With activity feed you can make notices on course covers and with the e-mail tool you can e-mail to those who are registered for the course. The calendar provides an overview of the submissions created in Brightspace. Notifications can provide an overview of the above tools.

Timetable for the implementation of Brightspace

  • December 1st 2020
    2nd round of pilot tests begins and will run through the spring semester.
  • April 2021
    All educators and administrative employees gain access to Brightspace.
  • Spring 2021
    CED will offer courses and workshops for Brightspace for both educators and administrative employees
  • August 2021
    Students will be given access to Brightspace and the system will begin to be used all over AU
