Teaching activities can be diverse, but their main purpose is to motivate and encourage students to learn no matter the form and content of the activities. For this reason, we have gathered a number of exemplary and general teaching activities which you can use to inspire and use in your own teaching. The goal of all of them is to motivate and promote the students' development and learning.
The activities are designed as step-by-step manuals and can be integrated directly into your teaching, regardless of the academic content. You can choose to adjust the activities as required, e.g. for specific objectives, content, courses or methods of teaching. When you include activities in the teaching, the communication of the content, form and purpose of the activity is important to clarify for the students.
The sister site of AU Educates, AU Studypedia, is a study tool for students at Aarhus University, which concerns writing of assignments, literature search among other study related work forms.
Please contact the editors at AU Educate if you have any questions about the content of the platform or if you need consultation on your teaching from one of the many skilled professionals at the Centre for Educational Development.
