Two Takeaway Teaching Plans that instruct and train the students in academic writing.
Under Academic writing two teaching plans have been developed, both of which train the students in the writing of academic assignments. The two teaching plans are:
The purpose of the teaching plan Academic writing – genre and writing process is to engage students in activities that instruct and train them in academic writing. The activities focus on some basic skills which the students must acquire to be able to write successful academic assignments. The students work with their own texts in the process; they learn what a writing process involves and how to recognise and work with the independent academic genre.
The teaching plan includes four elements: 1) Writing experience 2) The academic genre 3) Assignment building blocks and 4) Assignment structure
