In Brightspace you can create content on three levels::

  • “Unit” an overall level.
  • “Lesson”
  • "Folder”

In addition, you can create Pages at all three levels.

Units, lessons, folders and Pages together make up the content of your Brightspace page and appear in the course's vertical menu structure.

1. Create a unit

2. Create Lessons, Folders and Pages and add a template

This guide shows you how to create Lesson, Folders, and Pages pages and their relationship to Units.

Once you have created a unit, lesson, folder or Pages, you can add a template to give yourself a starting point. You can see how to add a template in the guide here:
