Each group is assigned to a digital group room while working on exercises in class. Students participating online can call the teacher into their digital group room if they need help.
That all students at AU Herning experience the value of “close interaction with the students” in practice.
THE PROCESS | |||
In plenum | Students can participate in the class in person or online as well as synchronously and asynchronously in a hybrid learning space. I go over the content from the student preparation time and clarify any questions or uncertainties.
| ||
I groups | Students work in groups on additional exercises related to the course content. I am available to guide and help students if needed.
| ||
Out of class | Students can contact me during the week with any additional questions they have regarding the exercise. |
Students benefit greatly from being able to contact me in a digital group room, especially those participating online.
Students already use Discord a lot, so it is easy to get in touch with them on there
Offer to meet with the students outside of normal teaching hours, perhaps in the evening, where they can present their results from an exercise and receive feedback from you.
