In Brightspace you can create content on three levels::

  • “Unit” an overall level.
  • “Lesson”
  • "Folder”

In addition, you can create HTML pages at all three levels.

Units, lessons, folders and HTML pages together make up the content of your Brightspace page and appear in the course's vertical menu structure.

1. Create a unit

2. Create Lessons, Folders and HTML-pages and add a template

This guide shows you how to create Lesson, Folders, and HTML pages and their relationship to Units.

Once you have created a unit, lesson, folder or HTML page, you can add a template to give yourself a starting point. You can see how to add a template in the guide here:
